Ice hockey competitions and players' development are highly organised on an international as well as national level .  With this being said it does not mean that there is anybody who has a "patent" or who owns the game or sport us such - and that any group of boys and girls cannot meet at the frozen lake and have fun by playing an ice hockey game - more or less adjusted to their own needs and wishes.
